We are professional husband and wife artists, painting mainly with watercolour. Also very experienced tutors, we teach in both North Wales and from our home in South West France. Our lives, as artists, are interesting and varied, tutoring as guest lecturers for two major cruise lines, which enables us to travel around the world sketching and painting. We are regularly published by two major art magazines, "The Leisure Painter" www.painters-online.co.uk and the SAA magazine "Paint" www.saa.co.uk and we have recently written a series of 12 articles to teach step-by-step watercolour for The Leisure Painter. We both have teaching articles coming out this Summer.

French house for sale. We are selling our French house and will be based in Britain now. We hope to buy a house in the Somerset area and so we will be running our courses both in North Wales and Somerset.

We have been asked to demonstrate at the Art Materials Live Show at the NEC Birmingham in November this year.  New Course 2012

Following a very productive, fun weekend this March,  teaching a lovely group of 13 students (our absolute maximum!) at the beautiful former manor house in the heart of Snowdonia, we have booked to hold the following watercolour painting weekends in 2012.

You will be taught properly in a beautiful conservatory area (with views towards Snowdon and Moel Siabod) with plenty of step by step demonstrations and sympathetic, constructive help. The hotel provides excellent food and accommodation. It is run by very friendly owners and staff, where nothing is too much trouble!
